Wake Up With Timex

If you’re looking for an alternative for to the iHome, the Timex TM800 might be something to keep an eye on. The TM800 alarm clock allows users to wake up to digital music via a thumb drive or SD media card. I’m not a big fan of the TM800’s design, the alarm clock looks a little on the cheap side. The speaker also looks like it isn’t going to do justice to any of your music. There’s no pricing or release date on the TM800, but from browsing around the Timex Audio website, it looks like it’ll probably be significantly cheaper than an iHome gear, but considerably less cool.

The design is ok, I guess… seems like a niche product. Who keeps music on their thumbdrive? I’m thinking anyone who carries a thumbdrive already has a music device of some sort preloaded with all of their tunes…
Line-in jack would be easier, no?

Now if it wirelessly streamed songs from your computer, that would be something…
