<p>It’s one of those inventions that should have been thought up years ago, but it took Tommy Habeeb, formerly of TV’s “Cheaters” to come up with it. Why not just give babies drinks of water? Because, like prom dates, “infants are unable to swallow without using their sucking reflex,” according to Habeeb. The thing only costs $2, and is a work of simplistic genius. I’ve ordered a box to use for Holiday gifts.</p>

Man, I wish that I would think of something as innovative and simplistic as the “Nipple Adapter”.

Again, simple simple, yet it took till 2006 for someone to come out with it. I have a 1 year old who tries to drink out of a water bottle that I might have and it’s impossible without dribbling it down all over his lap. This is a great idea…
You guys are right, I love this idea. I don’t even like babies, but I love it. I mean, I like them, but they’re not part of my diet. Though the Cool Ranch variety… mmmmmm.
Anyways, the difference between you and I inventing this and trying to market and this Tommy Habeeb character is two fold.
1) You and I do not have the baggage of what would probably be a terrible TV show named “Cheaters”
2) You and I do not have the millions of dollars garnered by this terrible TV show.
Thus in the end, unless you invent a perpetual motion device, us average Joes tend to not get far in the invention race…
If only they were USB powered.
my son and i go through alot of gatorade so we bought a couple with the sports cap i guess it’s called for just this reason. i personally think there’s a reason why this hasn’t been done already – kids still using nipples don’t need anything that comes in a
sodawater bottle. good idea, bad target market…Matt Hickey we should get these and drink sparks with them, do they make ‘em for cans?
