I really like the construction on the SD900. However for the price point, Canon should have updated it to include IS.

Not a fan of that blatant attempt at market segmentation at all.

Cha cha cha. Awesome. I have a Canon S1 and an SD400 so I haven't upgraded in a while. My only complaint about those is the recycle time with the flash. Are these any better?

I think the G7 may also be a good candidate since it has a hotshoe, but of course it's bigger and not so slim

I am a Cannon fanboy as well. I have a Pro shot 1 as well as a small point and shoot. Cannons color and clarity are unmatched. Replace the words Cannon with Nikkon and its the same thing.

Very nice camera. No macro pics. As a big fan of macro pix I'm sorry not to see any of them in this review. The controls sound interesting. It always sux when I want to take a pic on my SD450 and the lighting isn't right and it takes me forever to get it right. Usually the moment is ruined by the time I get all set.

Good review! The shot of the leaves is very impressive–great colors and very sharp.

I had an old 2 megapixel elph and loved it. I just picked up a Nikon L3 for my Fianceé, maybe it's time for me to get a new camera.

Wow! For a minute, I thought that lead singer pic was another shot of Britney's panty-less escapades. LOL

Not too bad. How many throw away shots were there? The comments about its size are noted, however, i have found that the smaller the camera the harder it is to get a steady shot. Its a toss up between ease of transport and ease of use. this camera beats the mine mju.
