Zune vs. iPod: I Smell Cease and Desist!

How DARE some fans of the Zune create a mirthful, actually truthful commercial designed to make the iPod look bad. As absolute Apple fanboys, the members of CG - Blake excluded - hereby renounce this video and hope like hell that Steve pulls some big Bluetooth-enabled touchscreen iPod with vibrate feature out of his pants this MacWorld or else the Zune might start looking good again.

spoofing your competitor’s ad is completely lame, period. fans or not, microsoft should stop this before it gets any lamer, if that’s at all possible. at least they took the time to reiterate
allthe major differences. with one being a giant and the other with giant market share, it reeks of “my dad can beat up your dad. nuh-uh. yeah-huh”. et al…Blake Robinson (Who am I?)

Or the Mac could just have plugged his earphones and listened to PC’s song for a few plays. Which is all squirting gives you anyway - 3 plays or 3 days, whichever comes first. You still need to buy (or, ahem, acquire in other ways) a song if you want to keep it around.
Squirting is hardly a replacement for a comprehensive 4 million song library that lets you explore artists & genres to your heart’s content.
At the end of the day, assuming you do the right thing, you still need to buy from the Zune Marketplace which requires using a PC to browse it, credit card details to buy points, and cables to sync (no Zune-to-PC Wi-Fi connectivity).
Just like every other music device…
If you hate iPod, buy a SanDisk Sansa - it’s probably the best device on the market, better than both the iPod or a Zune (although it doesn’t have the street cred of an iPod).

There is no leverage for a Cease and Desist on what is clearly a parody. I don’t know about the “actually truthful” part. How many songs has Blake squirted over to the other CG folks?

That made me laugh so much XD I really don’t care how truthful or not it is, really.
(I love when he’s all “it’s brown. it matches ^^”)

Pwned iSheep. By the way, contrary to what #3 thinks, it’s not a spoof by microsoft. It’s a spoof by it’s fans. And you of all people should know that fans are pretty stupid.
I agree with #7, get a Sansa, that is if you don’t mind these same retarded fans of both players in your face all the time about what a dumb choice you’ve made (you can maniacally laugh in secret at them, away from their iFlocks and Wi-Fi “social” cults).
Suspend your bitterness for a while folks, take comfort in my confession that the iPod is the most pivotal mp3 player thingie to date, and as to Zune fans…if any here at all, that thing wouldn’t be half bad if it wasn’t from…Microsoft…ugh!
