I also have quite a few watches. My everyday watch is a Breitling Superocean. Not many people that I meet on a day to day basis recognize it for the great mechanical dive watch that it is.

what about the future ? Relatime watches are a very new way to display the time; they already exist on the web, and some prototype has been made. what do you think about them ?

I also sport the watch that just so happens to be the choice of James Bond. Omega Seamaster 300M W/Quartz Movement. Best watch I’ve ever owned, hands down. Purchased about 8 years ago and since then 3 of my friends have also come on board with Omega Seamasters.

With that said I would like to make note of another brand that doesn’t seem to get alot of attention and is a realative newcomer to the watch world but really seems to come up with some cool stuff. Oakley Timetank

I was into watches a lot maybe 5-10 years ago. I like the technology and engineering that goes into some of those fine mechanical watches. But for keeping time – well, I too realized that I didn’t really needed a watch since we all have our mobile these days. So now I only have one exclusive watch that I wear with my smoking or tuxedo.

Conclusion: wacthes today are a fashion accessory and the same as jewellry for men. Real men don’t wear jewellry – end of story, period.

I love the Omega, but you should really check out the little know but very good Swiss brand Cyma. I have their Navy Star model, with the Chronograph, and for a quartz watch it’s very good. They also have an automatic line, but I’m very satisfied with my quartz.

I just got a Seamaster Chrono and it is a nice piece. My everyday fav is the T-Touch. However, I use the sun and my blackberry for telling time.
