I actually own the 1GB version of this, and I think the thing’s darn near invincible. I have no qualms throwing the thing across the room to somebody else, because if it hits the ground, it just bounces around a bit, and it’s none the worse for the wear. I wouldn’t recommend doing it regularly, but if you’re too lazy to walk across the room (like me), you’ll enjoy it.

The a-open usb thumb drive called JOGR is pretty reliable, only goes up to 2gb i think. Bought it for a clumsy friend of mine and he has left it in his pants pocket and put it in the washing machine twice and it still worked fine afterwards. I think more should have a rubberized outside for protection.

While I do agree, they look about as stupid as third nipple, they are quite grippy. To be honest, I care very little about what my portable storage looks like, its all about the feel. :)
