New iSoundCap: One More Way To Look Like A Tool

knit iSoundCap last week, but the company just announced a new model for the holidays, which is pictured. It does all the same stuff the others in its lineup do: holds a Shuffle or Nano, hides wires and makes you feel invincible.
I’m sorry, but really, is anyone buying these things? I understand if you’re an “active” type, but I think I’d want to punch someone in the head for just wearing one of these on the street.

ok, trying to put this in a positive perspective, it may be cool if you could get something like a “west coast choppers” shaped player or [insert logo here] that looked more like a 3d logo…
but you can’t and this is just too stupid to try and spin, sorry.

This is a clear case of “Poduct Cnvenience Fature Overlap”.
This occurs whenever one product (a hat w/ iPod holster) claims to add a convenience that is already inherent in another product. (ie. a portable media player that fits virtually anywhere)
Anything purporting to add to a portable media player’s err … “portability” is in jeopardy of suffering “Product Convenience Feature Overlap”.
Unless it can seriously bring something to the table you’re looking at superfluous garbage destined for the $1 bin at Target.

As street theft of ipods and nanos goes thru the roof in NYC, this looks like a great idea whose time never was. Anyway, even the dummy in the picture has its hat on backwards according to the role models I see in Manhattan, and whats with the curved bill, the boyz are all wearin’ flat

Hard to find the good in this product. Maybe if it had another pocket for my wallet, or a mini Karabiner for my keys then it would be the perfect walkin round town accessory. Maybe as cool as a fanny pack.
Some things should just be put in your pocket. I wonder if this hat will make the made for ipod list.
