  • And this is a software upgrade that they couldn’t just push out to the silver phones as well???

Seems like VZW is just looking to make a few more bucks…. I’ll have to admit though, the Q is a pretty sweet phone. No BlackJack, but us Verizon customers have to take what we can get.

    …or do we

  • You can get the same software upgrade for the silver Q. It’s free, and available now. Check http://www.qusers.com

  • haha guess again CruchGear, the software on the Black Q, can be downloaded and installed onto the Silver Q, yea im a silver Q user

  • you are a total douche-bag if you take the time to post “haha guess again CrunchGear”

  • a hopeful Q user - March 27th, 2007 at 1:21 pm PDT

So let me get this straight, if I get a silver Q and download the upgrade, its exactly the same as the black Q, why would VZW charge $50 extra for the color then…thats ridiculous. I guess I will be the silver user too.

  • I’m sure quite a few people wont notice that they can upgrade the firmware for free!

  • wait i am confused….which is better, the motorola q black or silver

    feature and price wise?

and whenever i check verizon.com for the phone to be there, it never comes up….whats up with that?

    !!please help me!!
