Gears of War Ad Pushing Units. Your Pick For Best Tech Ad Ever?

A guy who works in the video game section of a Manhattan Best Buy recently told me that people were coming into the store en mass, asking for Gears of War because they “liked the commercial.” You know, the one with the mopey song from Donnie Darko in it. “People come in and they actually say: ‘I have no idea if it’s a good game, but I love the ad’ and walk out with it.” He’s worked electronics retail for years, and this is the first time he can ever recall something like this. Microsoft must be tres happy.
This got me thinking–what are the best tech ads you’ve ever seen. Obvious choices include the original Macintosh “Big Brother” ad and “Head On: Apply Directly To the Head.” Throw your picks in Comments…

Not sure of the best. I can say the the Mac ad, “Hi, I’m a douche bag; Hi, I’m your mom” are terrible. Terrible. It is driving away the intelligent consumers (which Apple prided itself in possessing) towards PCs.
What the a smart man would probably use anyway.
