MonsterPod: Stick it Anywhere

Just in time for the holidays: the perfect gift for all those monsters on your list! Tired of hearing them say they can’t find a tripod small enough, strong enough and with an easy/fast setup to capture those pics they’ll regret not having? Me too, this should shut my brother up once and for all.

With its futuristic Viscoelastic Morphing Polymer base you simply screw on any camera (up to 20 oz) and slap that bad boy anywhere you could possibly imagine for up to 10 minutes. Yes of course it’ll work on the most generic surfaces but I’m talking about sticking this thing upside down on a tree branch in the dead of winter to get a snapshot of the elusive Yeti.

One of these magical monsters goes for about $35.

  • I could think of some good uses for this.

But none that wouldn’t get me arrested.

  • Peter…
quit blogging and get back to work!
wait… does this thing stick to skin?

  • Damn it! You found me…

  • That’s a fantastic product to have in your camera bag. While i have a small tripod i think this is a bit better. Not perfect for every shot but certainly would be for those certain situations.

  • I know most cameras weigh less than 10 oz, well most digital point and shoot, so just factor in battery weight and you’re good to go.

  • It does stick to skin! It sticks to just about everything imaginable.

  • Damn, I can so see these selling like hot cakes. There are so many uses for this it’s not even funny. I’m sure the porn industry guys will be picking up a whole bunch of these…they are always the first to embrace “new technology” most of the time.

  • I like everything about this MonsterPod. I ordered two – very cool – including the stylish travel case.

It’s too practical – you can use it almost anywhere. The goo has approximately the same consistency as childhood Silly Putty, but more so. It’s very nice and bright, so you want to stick it to something right away.

Good thing it resides in an cool looking black case that fits on your pant loop. Otherwise it might tend to stick to something you’d not planned on. Anyway, I advise anyone to likes to travel to buy one or two – your friends will love it.

  • This tripod is incredible…now if only they could come up with a monster-steadycam…..
