If you’re planning to hit the slopes this winter, you might wanna invest in a little spine protection. And POC’s Spine body armor could be the ideal solution to this dilemma. This space-aged-looking spine armor consists of six plates that provide protection for your precious vertebrae. It’s available now for $160.

But the fun doesn’t stop with your thoracic and lumbar regions. POC also offers two system expansions for the cervical and pelvic sections so that your C1 and C7 vertebrae don’t feel exposed. The cervical and coccyx add-ons are available for $40.

  • I hear the ninja turtle look is in this year on the slopes.

  • I dunno. it seems a bit over the top. Anyways, I thought about 90% of all skiing/snowboarding accidents were head trauma related. Kind of seems like a ploy to get nervous parents into buying into something expensive and unnecessary, but then again how new is that idea?
