My money's on Wal-Mart for picking it up, as they seem to absorb every Coby product under the sun. :o

I don't necessarily see this device making a 80's comeback, but I can see how this would make for a sweet alarm clock. Current alarm clocks look really bland and not many have the MP3 option. Make a 256 mb version of this device and I am sold. These are a little pricey as just an alarm clock. I would love to listen to some good music as I get up rather than the static that I hear nowadays.

I can see this starting a new FAD like in the 80s... instead of 20lbs boom boxes, people will be walking around in white track suits with this beauty on their shoulders... annoying the hell out of everybody they meet and getting well deserved ear damage. Actually looks pretty good!

You've got to wonder if the MP3 player market will ever be over-saturated. With the overwhelming success of the iPod and all the other portable music devices out there, it's fascinating that companies are still churning out new ones.

This Coby device is pretty cool, but it's a bit big to make it very portable. I guess you could take it to work or something, but you're not going to job with this thing on your shoulder.

Although, the auxiliary jack is a plus. You could plug in your extremely portable iPod in there.
