You didn't like that one LG phone with the bumper? LOL. I need a new VZWireless phone, but I think I may just need that camera phone feature .. just in case. But good suggestion for those who just want a phone.

Unless you are into production/CAD work or 3D realm, why would a consumer ever even need to consider a 1.5TB backup solution? If you are recording that much TV by the way... time to visit the lipo doctor to take a few rolls off your mid-section.

That cell phone has space between its buttons - and they actually look LARGE... too bad I am not in the market for one. Too bad it isn't just a phone - why do they have to add all this extra crap (that I have to pay for btw) when all I want to do is make a phone call?

Personally, I find the imac among the uglier pieces of desktop equipment out there, although better then their short-lived "sunflower" design - I just don't find it attractive having a huge "chin" of white plastic right below a monitor screen.

That camera is nice but no Nikon D40 ;-)

This is a great roundup of items. I love that you start with a backup solution. So many people pay no attention to this crucial aspect of our modern age. What good is having your life digital, if you lose everything during a small catastrophe?

Another great solution for backups: Mozy. Get a free account, install the agent, and it will backup automatically. You're limited to 2GB with the free version, but you can get unlimited space for a small fee.

Finally, I was an early adopter of the Mirra. Now that Seagate owns it, it's gotten even better. The software is more stable, and it will work on OS X. It continually backs up everything, saving multiple versions as it goes. That's saved my butt on more than one occasion.
