If I wanted to listen to the crappy music everyone listens to at the bus stop I'd have it on my own iPod. The speakers are too small for a party or at the beach, it's just big enough for teens in big pants to listen to their crappy music loud enough to annoy me while I wait for the 44 to take me to the bowling alley. I'm sure they wouldn't want to listen to my music either, thats why I wear headphones. This product gets rated crap on the scale of 1 to crap. These External speaker cases for ipods are so stupid. I think an external speaker and a separate external speaker would make for a better purchase. But for fifty bucks, this isn't that bad of a purchase.
