These things are cool. Will they work with OS X? It will be great to have such a small camera in your pocket and be able to video chat quickly without toting around your webcam..

That is a pretty sweet little camera gizmo. And for only $60?! Talk about a handy little mobile video conferencing solution. Although it might be pretty awkward to get the camera to hold still while recording yourself. The spy camera might be a more convenient use.

.3 megapixel? I can draw better than that.

I am happy Ryan noticed this as well… 0.3 megapixel camera - what is the point of that - I prefer my current pin-hole shoebox! Sure the picture is faded and black/white but at least it looks somewhat like a picture, not one of those random black bloob pictures psychiatrists use to figure out if your insane or not. Even a cell phone camera is better then these things… so I fail to see their purpose other then novelty items with an extremely short lifespan… off to the incinerator I say!

As a spy camera, I think it should have sacrificed some frames per second and improved the megapixels. .3 seems awfully low and 30 frames might not all be needed. My phone’s camera is 1.3 megapixels and its still hard to take any semidecent pictures. If only I had a real digital camera… like a Nikon D40. (Jk). This combined with that wireless video chip that was featured a few days ago and you have yourself the ultimate voyeur video.

You are right though Amit, when I was in China Town (Toronto), there was a guy who got the living daylights beaten out of him by a mob right on the street… seems buddy was walking around with a small camera on his shoe and a woman noticed he was taking pictures up her skirt. You never want to piss off an Asian woman… these delicate flowers become tigers in 2 seconds flat. I guess there are improper uses for just about everything these days… I am happy that the masses though quickly pick out the weirdos in crowd and give them their just deserts.

Jon- There was something on dateline about that the other night, apparently a lot of guys have been caught shooting up skirt pictures with camera phones. Smaller cameras and short range wireless (read bluetooth) should make everyone worried about privacy.

Hi Ryan, soon in the not too distant future, the only way to catch these weirdos will be for all us guys to start walking around in kilts without underwear… if you see the guy puking next to you… you caught him red handed!
