SlingPlayer Mobile Now Friendly with Blackjack, Dash

SlingMedia let drop today SlingPlayer Mobile for Smartphones (v1.0.5) and for PocketPC (v1.1). In addition to several bug fixes and tweaksm the smartphone edition features support for the Samsung Blackjack and the T-mo Dash. You can try it out for free for 30 days and after that it’ll cost you $30.

These are quite nice but unusable by people like me… why don’t they have a “fold out” keyboard option? Now that is a feature that would get them into new markets and greatly grow their audience (ei: seniors with Arthritis or other health problems).

Has anyone checked out http://www.orb.com ?
It’s free and supposedly is a free version of slingbox, albeit you use your computer as your slingbox..

Peter, that’s actually really cool but the problem is if you become too popular, ISPs will unite and start charging extra bandwidth costs. I like the concept though and will give it a try. Thanks for bringing it up!
