free holiday spending calculator to get you back on track or make you feel more worthless than I did before when I called you a buncha fatties.
This gift from software developer Business Objects uses its Crystal Xcelsius app to let you figure out all your holiday expenses simply by dragging some sliders. The more money you tack on, the higher the gauge goes up and the deeper in debt you sink.
This sort of visual feedback would be great for presentations. Instead of looking at boring slides of Excel tables, you could turn your data into visually appealing gauges and sliders, perfect for doing financial forecasts on the fly (i.e. if A happens, then B is the result). Well hey, that’s exactly what Crystal Xcelsius does.

Aww man, I already spent so much time working it all out on excel…
OH well, this is much prettier.
I used this method instead
-click “start”
-select “all programs”
-scroll up to “accessories”
-select “calculator”
although I do agree… your version is better ;-) You would have thought XP would have evolved their calculator a little bit more… looks like the same one they had in DOS ;-) How does Vistas calculator look like?

Thanks for all of the encouraging thoughts going into the weekend. First the body than the wallet; at least you didn’t call my children ugly!
Have a Merry Christmas!!
(and you don’t have to wrap the camera, just send it)
Great little app, but this is exactly the kind of thinking you want to put off until after the new year – why ruin your vacation now :P
That was awesome!
