Burger King Games Match Gears Of War Sales

Remember when I said it wouldn’t be a big surprise if those Burger King games for the Xbox 360 sold like crazy? Well, it happened. The games have been out for a little less than a month, but they’ve already hit the 2 million mark, meaning they’ve hit Gears of War status.
Sure they’re cheap and there’s three of them, but c’mon, 2 million copies? I haven’t gotten a chance to play Pocket Bike Racer, Sneak King or Big Bumpin’, so I don’t know if the games are any good or not, but I’m seriously thinking about walking into Burger King and picking one up now. Any recommendations?

When I heard about this, I had to doctor up an image that pretty much summed it up:

Key word is they’re cheap and easy to get
If you’re just about to give an Xbox, why not throw one more game under the tree for (relative) pennies? They’re also great for casual gamers who wouldn’t pay full price for most games

Pocket Bike Race is phenomenal.

This is awesome. It shows the real power of market and price. Price it cheap and sell it while people are hungry. On the other hand, I never have been much of a burger king fan. And nowadays, McDonald’s isn’t so high on my list. Taco Bell all the way….
