Now this is a sweet looking PS3! Michal Birecki’s dad owns a body shop. So aside from being a loan shark, he can also paint cars and objects beautifully and with exquisite detail. This white, glossy PS3 took over 14 hours to professionally complete and is going for over $1000. Don’t expect help from Sony though when it breaks though mdash; the case was tampered with so the warranty. If you so desire this white PS3, you can check out the auction here.

I agree this does look nice. No warranty? Who cares the current bid is 1.5k if you can throw that away on a console you can afford to pay to get it fixed.
Absolutely amazing. It’s nice to see what one can do with a little bit of skill. I should buy one, take it out to my workshop, and build a nice hardwood case for it. Ah, too lazy I think…… :)

I wonder if this means you can insure the PS3 with your home AND auto insurance? Worth checking into.
But if I was going to “Pimp My PS3″ I would opt for something other than the storm trooper look.

Pretty sweet, I don’t know if it warrants a 1500 price tag, but glossy white schwag always looks nice. It’s what made the iPod so popular. Maybe Sony should take some heed and revamp the PS3 colors…
Wow, that does look nice. One thing I don’t like about my PSP is that it shows fingerprints and smudges like crazy. I assume the black PS3’s do the same. I think the white would help that, though it’s not likely you’ll be handling the PS3 like the PSP but if you’re trying to justify spending $1,500 on it, add that to the list.
A bad thing about it if you buy a new ps3 controller it will be black and not white. He should of had -2- PS3 white controllers
