I mean, how soon is the FAA (etc) going to start allowing Methanol as a carry-on item for passengers. Consider that just about everything on this earth has hydrogen in it (yes, even water)... we are only a few decades away from being able to dump trash into our laptops to make it run, just like in Back to the Futures deLorean!
