You know, guys aren’t the only gadget buffs out there. Girls love to read about gadgets that cater to them as well. I’m not saying all girls love Hello Kitty/Sanrio either; my friend kicked my ass the other day in Gears of War but still has a Badtz Maru doll.
So today Spectra introduced the KT4560 Hello Kitty iPod Clock Radio. This cutie-patootie iPod dock comes with built-in controls, video out, AM/FM radio, an iPod dock, and an auxillary jack in case you suck and don’t have an iPod. The dock even features a cute sleeping Kitty on top. No word on pricing, availability, or exact level of cuteness

Vince, Your Gear choice borders on that of an adolescent Japaneses girl. I’m just kidding. Do you think they would make this clock in G.I. Joe. If they did, I’d have it.

Available in Japan and Korea…US in 2 years. The only reason to think that it could be in the US next year is that it is condescending enough to have an alternative to an iPod dock.

Hello Kitty - the guy who “invented” this phenomenon is wealthier beyond belief… but… being mostly based in Asia… it’s also among the most pirated brands out there, probably the reason why the inventor isn’t second to Bill Gates as the worlds wealthiest person. I have yet to see something that ISN’T branded by “Hello Kitty”… toilet covers, garbage cans, dancing to sound, towels… you name it… they have it branded!
