Happy New Year everybody. I hope everyone had a pleasant evening and managed to remain safe. We’re currently working off our drunks, but semi-consistent posting should resume tomorrow.
At any rate, I’ve got the final installment (for awhile) of Reader Response for you all. Reader Response: Countdown to CES.
Belkin has graciously donated a slew of prizes and we’re going to be giving them away Tues – Fri. The prizes are:
(2) Clamp-On Surge Protectors
(2) Concealed Surge Protectors
(1) SportCommand
(1) N1 Wireless Router and ExpressCard Notebook Card
They will be given away in that order in regular fashion. If you want to win, simply comment on this week’s posts. The commenters with the highest frequency and quality of posts will win. And be sure to leave your email address in the commenter info form. No one without a valid email address will win. Happy commenting and, again, Happy New Year.

Sounds like some great stuff… Happy new year, folks!
HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM POLAND
I’ll start by commenting on this, to say what I’m hoping to see at CES:
1. A sequel to the Nokia 770. I’m sold on the concept, but the complaints about lack of speed have me holding on to my wallet.
2. A sequel to the Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1a. I’d like it to support D1 (DVD) widescreen resolution, have better low light support, and some kind of filter thread on the lens mount.
Yay! i love these, and the “quality of posts” is definitely a must to prevent spammers. CrunchGear brings good stuff, keep it up.
The surge protectors… I’ve had my eyes on those ever since being announced. They are definitely something to drool over.
Can’t wait for the inside scoop at CES!
Congrats to all the winners of the Reader Response awards!
Hey Vince, thanks for keeping us updated over the holiday break. Don’t let the rest of the guys boss you around too much when they get back, and you better be asking for holiday bonuses!
Sweet prizes, that I could actually put to use instead of just want.
And yes I know Blake wrote this update, I was just telling Vince thanks for keeping us updated, because he’s probably passed out from keeping us wired over the holidays.
Hi Blake… would be a very interesting article if you wrote something showing what % of products featured at the show actually made it out to market and of those, which are STILL in the market this year ;-)
Jon
