I know you can use the data thru bluetooth on TomTom for PPC in Europe and the UK. Why are we so far behind?

I think the final integration point would be for the GPS to connect with your phone via bluetooth for data and then pull in www.traffic.com data to be able to show you traffic conditions and reroute you appropriately.

I wonder if www.dash.net really works.

Hey Zeek, can I call you Zeek? While it isn't the "first" to utilize its Bluetooth to answer calls and such I don't think I know of any Nav systems that you can send texts over. Besides Samsung likes to say their products are always the "first" for something.

Peter, are you saying this is the first GPS (GSP???) that connects to a bluetooth enabled phone? Just bought a Garmin c550 for my gf and it's pretty cool. Bluetooth that acts like a car kit, very easy to use, mp3 thru an SD slot, and fm traffic receiver. Too bad it's illegal to put those things on your windshield in Cali.
