Viiv technology-based PC, you’ll be able to access, share and manage your digital media on the computer through the LinkPlayer2. That’ll let you keep your Media Center PC in another room and still access all your TV recordings and other digital video, plus your music and photos. So that’s fun.

with the appropriate cable. But otherwise you’re stuck with S-Video or composite. Boo. At least it comes with a nice remote control.

  • How can, this be a NEW news. I am using IO-DATA LinkPlayer2 since last two years !!!

  • Well, they are trying to rebrand this player, which is ok, but come on, they should have just fixed the current one 1st.
Sure looks like it is still the same… Cheers

  • I agree it’s pretty retarded that they’re rebranding this and basically screwing all the people that have to the orignal version of the link2 player. They are changing chips inside but basically it is the same thing.

They should just open the source code for the machine up and let the masses have access to it. Then you’ll see it work the way it was intended to.
