Navigation on phones has been available via nextel and blackberrys for a while. At my old job I had a BB with TeleNav installed on it and it worked great. I just wouldn't pay for Nextel service for personal use since it costs way more than any other carrier.

Why would anyone buy this ugly thing if for $100 less you can get a brand-new unlocked beautiful HTC P3300 (http://www.htc.com/product/03-product_p3300.htm) instead? (price based on available Buy-it-Now price on Ebay.com) The P3300 also has a GPS receiver built-in and is loaded with the TomTom Navigator software, and has a bunch of other really nice features. I'm actually thinking about buying it myself.
