If you’re all about jumping on the next-gen bandwagon early, might want to hit up your local electronics store to check out the latest from SMC Networks. SMC released a bunch of 802.11n goodies still with the draft-version of 802.11n with everything from routers to adapters. There’s the Barricade N wireless router for $120 that can connect up to 300Mbps, four Ethernet ports in the back, and SPI firewall for protection.

Then of course, there are the adapters. Take your pick: the EZ Connect N PCI-card for $90 for your PC or the $80 CardBus version for your laptop. Both can allow you to actually use the 300Mbps that could possibly come out of that router.
