  • The skates look dumb but I like those pumas they’re on.

  • Actually.

Those wheel shoes are way NOT for the rich eight year old kid (at least anymore).

Last time I was at the Safeway, most of the swarming, rolling around, impossible-to-track-visually, mass of kids with those shoes were dirty WT shitbags.

Like seven of them, all the same-looking except for size.

  • $70 for a pair? Are they joking? I was in Shanghai back in November and street vendors were selling them for 80 Yuan, approximately $12. One of my friends was able to haggle it down to 20 Yuan, under $3. He got a bunch of them for his nieces and nephews.

  • What a fantastic idea! Now I can simply roll people out of my way when visiting the local Walmart on the weekend instead of having to shove my way through mountains of people! Now… if they can only invent a way of stacking people one on top another outside of the alleys, then we got an unbeatable combination.

  • Ryan, that’s exactly what I thought, forget the skates, check out those badass Puma’s, lol…

  • Actually, they’re not called “Rollies” but rather “PLIWS” (pronounced “pleeves”, allegedly derived from “play with wheels”).
And another thing: they are WAY more comfortable to ride than Heelys (I own both) and faster (I raced a Heelys-owner :D)
