LG is finally jumping into the domestic GPS Nav market, but there are no real surprises here. If you’re at CES you can check out the four new models: LN790, LN740, LN735 and LN730. Touch screens ranging in size from 3.5 to 4.3-inches that will offer a wide range of options including Bluetooth, turn by turn voice guidance, POIs, preloaded maps of the US and Canada and media playback capability. We’ll be seeing them sometime in Q2 priced anywhere from $300 to $800. No pic yet so here’s a mock-up I made for you with eye candy.

Thanks for the morning pick-me-up! The “software” models at CES will be more popular than the LG hardware. Wonder what the LG voices will sound like on the turn by turn guidance.
Is it just me or are these pretty pricey models for a Q2 launch? The only new feature that I see (not real familiar with nav devices) is the radio channel that will provide the device with current traffic information along the route. Oh yes, and the video/music capability for when you reach your destination and want to “park” with some ambiance.

Is the model in the back real? She looks like she is made of wax.
