Does it play Divx and Xvid?? Or is it the same Sansa software that comes with their current release of mp3 players? Wont touch it if it is the latter.

Looks like nice specs. Get one and give it away on CG! Same q’s as Adam, and what are the size specs? 4 in screen is pretty sweet sized, and all SD/SDHC comptability plus 8 gb built in is pretty nice.

I hope PlayForSure doesn’t limit this baby’s performance because it is looking pretty sweet right now, and if it does run DivX or Xvid, I’ll be saving up for another CES gizmo.

Sandisk is relatively quiet about their presence in the DAP field but they are chomping at Apple’s heels. This is a nice looking device. Four hours of vidz is cool, though 10 hrs. of audio isn’t. I’m not sure I’d pay 3 hundy for 8Gb. I know you can scale it up significantly with the SDHC sich, but that’s also scaling up your budget.

Anybody knows who the ODM for this Sandisk PVP is?
