		<description>Battery power? I&#039;ve had other pen devices and they typically chew through batteries in just a few uses.  Is this one of those devices that will drain the battery unless you remove it when not in use??</description>

I purchased one of these last year, and it&#039;s now sitting motionless at the bottom of my desk drawer.

It took months to arrive (in Australia) (after many weekly emails enquiring of the status), and arrived looking like a prototype/refurb/factory-second. (their website seems to call it &quot;re-certified&quot;).

  * Setup and scanning is impossibly fiddly.

  * Data transfer is painfully slow.

I haven&#039;t tested the memory card slot because I don&#039;t have a mico-xd card.

It has great potential to be a great gadget... but they really need to lift their game before they can justify charging US$300.</description>
