Imitation Is King: iPhone Skins Appear For WM 5.0, Palm OS

Looks like people are already attempting to imitate the iPhone. A Windows Mobile skin that resembles the iPhone’s interface has been released but quickly taken down thanks to Apple’s crack team of lawyers. There’s also a version for the Palm OS that’s still up, but you better grab it quickly before it gets pulled. You can score it here.

  • Ugh. Its sacrilege. I don’t want to see the Windows flaggy thing in the aestheticly pleasing iPhone environment anyway.

    You know, there was an article on ZDNet that asked the question why the iPhone was receiving so much hype’ns when there are other phones already available that have similar feature sets. Well, for one, they aren’t the Apple iPhone. And two, they aren’t the Apple iPhone.

    I will have one.

    At least one.

  • Hi there.
    It’s really funny to see Apple reacting so agressivly against some Apple fans (and paying customers of the “iPhone”) regarding iPhone copyrights. Specially regarding the matter that Apple themselfs seem to have violated the copyright of another famous company, by naming the new device “iPhone”
