Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer was caught laughing at the mention of the iPhone in this CNBC interview. Not only does he look like a jackass, but he lies right out his own ass on numbers regarding the Zune, saying it has 25 percent of the high-end MP3 player market (over $250). Yeah right.

“$500! Fully subsidized with a plan?!” sounds reminiscent of something – hmm I can’t quite put my finger on it.

  • Has this guy not looked at how much Windows-Mobile devices sell for? And the Q is a janky PoS device running on a crappy OS. I’m not defending Apple by any means, but seriously, what a turd. Saying that Apple hasn’t sold any phones yet is just stupid. They didn’t sell any iPods before they were released either.

  • hey you are the stupid here, when he says that apple sold zero phones, he is saying that apple is just a starter he is not stupid as you.Q!

  • Balmer needs to understand this isn’t just a new phone its also a video ipod. So you have a phone that has the appeal of an ipod. How much is an 8GB nano, just subtract the value and it looks kinda reasonable.

  • I didn’t say he was stupid, I said what he said was stupid. Which it was. It was a stupid statement to make that means absolutely nothing.

  • @Kyle

Kind of reasonable…google the story about how much your cost will be for your first year with AT&T (Cingular) the cost will be close to 2 grand for the phone + services.

  • Um, don’t mean to be nitpicky, but isn’t it Ballmer? with 2 l’s?
