I would pick the e4c's in a heartbeat to the superfis which are extreme uncomfortable in the ears. Then again, if you enjoy the severe ringing in the ears for a long period of time, you really must be a republican.

ive had the e4c for a while and thought id see how cheaper dual driver earphones compare in the super fi5 pro's and ive gotta say i prefer the pros sound that bit more,i had a feeling 2 drivers would be better than one,and im in favour that my feeling was correct and due to the cheaper price also this makes the ue superfi 5's an absolute bargain aswell!! maybe nest ill be swayed by the triple driver offerings by shure,at a much higher price thats another comment for another day! all the best in choosing but with dual drivers id recommend superfi's

I do like Shure's earbuds very much, but I still think they run second to UE in the sound dept. That said, considering how subjective things like fit, comfort, and personal taste in sound are, the only way to really know is to try them out... or at the very least, read as many reviews as you can from different users.

I have the UE 5 pro ones.I am amazed to hear things which are not heard in the normal earphones.I was thinking of Bose but now i am satisified with the UE so much so that i am fan of them.

I'll have to give the Shure's a go. I have tried UEs before and I am definitely a Shure fan- more for the fit than anything else. I have had a set of E3c earphones for about a year now and can't see switching any time soon...

So, do you really like the ear phones that go into your ear rather than over? Do you find that the sound quality is more clear in comparison because the sound is shooting directly at your drums? I've been in the market for something other than the regular ipod buds. I've always thought that Shure products were pretty good....how do other ear plugs compare and what's the BEST you've ever heard - you just can't believe how absolutely amazing it is - you want to marry the creator?
