Native Instruments Audio 8 DJ Interface
by Vince Veneziani on January 22, 2007

Professional DJs know that in 2007, it now takes more than two Technics-1200s and a RANE mixer to get the job done at a high-roller nightclub (unless you’re Carl Cox). Native Instruments, maker of all music software elite, knows this too and showed off its new digital DJ interface at NAMM. The Audio 8 DJ interface comes with four RCA inputs and outputs, MIDI input/output, mic in and audio out jacks, dual phono pre-amps (sweet!), and 96KHz Cirrus Logic analog-to-digital converters.

What’s this all mean? It means seamless integration and pristine audio quality for your tracks. If you’re already drooling over this beautiful piece of musical gadgetry, you’d better get a napkin. The Audio 8 DJ interface won’t be out until April and will cost $450.
