Good. I hate getting a new pc and the first I have to do is remove things that shouldn’t have been there in the first place…like windows. :) How much is the difference in price though? Most places knock off $50-$100 but then if you look at the price of buying an os alone it’s double…
I specced two identical Dimension E521 systems with Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 3800+ processors, 1GB of memory and 320GB hard drives, and the OS free” system costs $789 whereas the one with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 costs $769. So adding a $110 OEM version of Windows saves you $20….
