Not withstanding the link to a Russian warez site … Windows Mobile 6 doesnt look any different / better than Mobile 5.

Whether it is safe to post a link to the download or not, I think it is an irresponsible thing to do.

Installing beta software is one thing, folks, but installing a beta operating system — one that is likely to flash your ROM permanently — is just stupid. You could brick your phone or PDA at the drop of a pin.

By linking to the download, Crunchgear is making it possible for countless newbs to render their toys useless. Let them Google the thing themselves folks, its clearly not that hard to find…

@ Sascha There's nothing wrong here. Not too long ago I read something where those reporting were not held liable for anything, only those originiating or hosting it. (Anyone else remember seeing this?) Why, even Captain Crunch himself touched on a similar issue not too long ago (see his links and comments).

Vince, are you ASKING for a Cease & Desist letter? I didn’t think that linking to a Russian download website for a leaked operating system is CG’s style. You guys should know better than that.
