  • That’s interesting.. I wonder if only asking people in the industry sort of defeats the purpose though? I just got back from the Middle East and I’m sure most people there would know Al Jazeera, but I know MySpace would not be well known amongst lay people.

  • Where I come from, asking for a global opinion from those who are in the industry is called rubbish. If you read the article, the question was posed to industry insiders and asked how the brand impacted their lives:
    Which brand had the most impact on our lives in 2006?”.
    This is a far cry from a global imprint and is about as scientific as asking millionaires if they think pork-soup kitchens are the key to solvoing the world’s poverty epidemic.
