  • I hope you realize that the photo with your Miss America story, if you can call it that, is of Miss USA, not Miss America….And yes, all that volunteer service and getting good grades is really putting a hamper on women in this country….I mean past Miss America’s have only gone on to careers in entertainment, medicine, law, etc. Clearly, they’ve been held back in life what with all the thousands of scholarship dollars and national exposure they’ve earned. How can they sleep at night knowing they’ve done so much good in the community and are only positioning themselves for success in life? Man, how awful.

  • @ RC: Yes, I realize it’s Miss USA, but Google wouldn’t find me a photo of Miss America holding a flash card. :(

  • CG standards!! I thought you would have just photoshopped in a flash card, didn’t know that your journalistic/geek standards also supported your eye candy.

  • Just so you know, the outgoing Miss America, Jennifer Berry, logged 20,000 miles each month, visiting terminally ill children, disabled and injured vets, and helping to raise thousands of dollars for a variety of charities. As the national spokesperson for MADD, much of her time was spent educating countless schoolchildren and teenagers about the dangers of drunk driving. All that, but not ONE mall opening or minor league baseball game. Huh. Maybe you should do some research before making fun of someone who has worked so hard and accomplished so much.

  • Photoshopped – the use of photoshop to edit pictures. Sorry for referring to software ;)

  • NW Guy: I was kidding, of course. I’m a master an humurous photoshoppery, actually. See above. :P

@ VB, Others: I’m sorry I’m making fun of the Miss America pageant, it is a usefull, wonderful organization. I was using the humor of the stereotype to make fun of the fact that it has an “official” comactflash card supplier. Am I the only one laughing?
