hmmm….i see alot of, microsoft sucks at mp3, and microsoft makes such crappy products, but if you had any sence, you wouldnt have bought the 1st generation of anything! of course stuff going to go wrong! do you remember the “almighty” ipod touch that you guys worship so fondly? My friend went through 5 in one year. He’s not the only one either. Oh. I almost forgot. What about computers?? oh ya! you wouldnt know because your “Mac” is to dang crappy to get on the internet where it would only get shamed further by all the wonders of Microsoft! A final note about Zune, i bought a 2nd gen. Zune 8Gb rite after it came out, and it works brilliantly to this day! So get your facts straight, your head out of your butt and go get a Zune!

My zune screen cracked from the inside and i cant see a thing.
I called Zune and their like “We don’t cover cracked screens” and I’m like WTF?
I’m not gonna buy anymore microsoft products…totally switching to IPOD

same problem happened to me. i usually charge my zune overnight but i recently left it on the charger for a few days and the screen is now cracked. with my past zune’s though they would randomly stop charging and i would have to send them back to get them replaced &i would always get a new one. i’ve had this one for a year&a half and this is the only problem i’ve had with it and hopefully if it stops charging then they can over look the screen problem ): i looove my zunee ):

Well, it’s Di again. My last post was March 9th of last year, after I’d replaced the screen on one son’s Zune, with ebay’s less expensive parts and directions. It worked for 11 months before it quit synching with the computer. And the other son’s screen cracked a few days later. 3 episodes with 2 Zunes in a year. And my sons are 20 and 24. They are not kids who skateboard or swim or run, etc, with their Zunes. They treat these machines as valuable. They’re valuable all right – like a sinkhole to pour money into!!!! Sure Bill Gates is giving away money to charities. But We Are Not getting tax credit for our contributions!

I havent had my screen break but i cannot charge and it wont sync up with my computer and i have tried everything. i called support and they said i would have to send it in. i asked how i could get a refund and they gave me an email and said i would be contacted back within 24 hrs. sure enough over 24 hrs after i email no response. I have realized ipod is just better and would like a refund and i dont see why they wouldnt provide if the cost is all the same to them.

ive had my 30gig zune for 3 yrs so far n ive never had a problem wit it
n i also got it when it first came out
idk y it hasnt malfunctioned
but wat about the new gen of zunes? any1 hav new zune whose screen is cracked?

Bought my wife a Zune 30 gig for Mothers Day 2007 along with the Best Buy 2 year replacement plan. A month ago the led screen cracked with out impact. Went to Best Buy tonight and they gave full credit towards a replacement without any questions.

Same letter from them, too. “You must have tampered with it”……ha I found a web site….www.rapidrepair,com. It sells replacement parts or they will fix it for you , of course for a fee. By the timne you’re done the Zune will be a $400.00 unit.

Same thing with me…..won’t cover the cracked screen or the lock switch that just fell out. I am not a teenager who handles things roughly and I wish I would have never purchased the Zune either. I have never dropped my Zune…how do you explain the crack? I think I am done with Microsoft products….the worst tech service I have ever experienced!!!
