Windows Mobile Device Center: Suck on This, ActiveSync
by John Biggs on February 1, 2007

Well this is a fine kettle of fish. Windows has just launched beta versions of their 32- and 64-bit syncing software, Windows Mobile Device Center, or NAMBLA. The software is obviously prettier than ActiveSync and it includes all the regular sync junk along with media sync, on device file-browsing, and improved set-up and recognition.

I never thought I’d say this, but Windows is looking better and better.

  • NAMBLA? N. AMERICAN MAN BOY LOVE ASSOCIATION “NAMBLA”?? (Yes, I HAD to google that…. ). WTF? does this have to do with Win Sync, or did you paste something into a cruchgear article instead of the Associations newsletter?? Or is this a case abbreviation shortcircuit (i.e. there are like 4 definitions for “MAC” in the IT industry)
