Actually, our product is intended solely for residential wine collections, not for commercial.

As for drdrew - good luck with that.

This just reminded me of the impressive wine cellar at the Aureole restaurant in the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. They have this huge (excuse me: HUGE) tower with wine bottles where a robotic arm picks the bottle you (or someone who is currently in the restaurant and who can actually afford it) selected. You can go to the upper level and see the thing in action (if you are lucky, don't try to stand there and wait for someone to get a bottle of wine), it is really impressive. I'm sure they could use one of those inventory systems, but they probably already have an even more expensive one in place, since the robotic arm must get the information where to go for the bottle of wine from somewhere.. Damn I wonder what happens if that thing drops one of those bottles from 1885...
