Although culled from a site that contains questionable Hungarian (someone translate this for me if they can), the Asus Aura concept phone looks like a solid competitor to the iPhone — if it ever comes out.
The site claims that the Aura will have a 3.9-inch touchscreen with a foldout QWERTY Keypad, along with a 2-megapixel camera. It also will feature Bluetooth, microSD, miniUSB, and 3G, while maintaining a 9-millimeter thinness.
I’ll believe it when I see it.

So do you think the key differentiator to the iPhone is the touchscreen?
Reason I ask, is after having several phones with touchscreens – I tossed them in the bin and stick with keys. I like keys. I think that’s why Blackberry’s did better than PocketPC’s in the past. I’m not sure anything has changed…
Looks like yet another student 3D Studio Max project to me. One of these days I’ll render my own iPhone contender and submit it to CG through some Eastern European website, let’s see how far I can make it with that ;-)
