Great post. I have to say I really dig this phone too. I messed around with it at CES in Vegas. It fits my style too and the theme of my apartment. Brushed steel and futuristic…
Unlocked versions in England…. hmm…. note to self: Start looking on http://www.ebay.co.uk for auctions (which for sure will melt the leather off your wallet especially with the pound to dollar exchange rate, but as you said, it’s not for the timid!)
“LG Shine Hits England”
England == UK?
While technically true, the Shine has hit England, but the LG shine has hit the UK, which includes Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales AND England.
I’ve always wondered why our American cousins refer to our small rock as England. We just never say that, we say we’re British, or we’re from the UK. England is hardly ever written or spoken about. We’re the United Kingdom of Political Correctness now (sarcasm).
Phone looks nice, but I’ve gone off big phones that claim to be smart, they’re bloody useless as phones and too fiddly to use for PIM stuff. Ironic really. I’ll swap my smartphone anyday for a smaller one…
