If you’re concerned that your porn downloading habits are bad for the environment, then your idea of conscience is more mixed-up than mine. But it might feel better after you pick up this keyboard by Genius. With a built-in solar panel, the wireless keyboard charges with ambient light instead of using off the shelf batteries that poison the ground and kill your family. Sadly, the included mouse needs these toxic lead acid cells, but at least you’re half-responsible.

Of course, you don’t get a lot of light in your mom’s basement, so maybe this isn’t for you. But if you live in, say, a greenhouse, or on top or a mountain, or a city besides Seattle, then you might get enough sunlight to make this thing worthwhile.
