I'd be curious to know whether you've found any GPS software that works. Thanks! -Leon

I got the USB Modem version at the Sprint store. I'm on a G4 PowerBook, so couldn't use BootCamp.

I first tried doing the activation using Virtual PC, but did not succeed. Activation on a Windows box worded OK. After a few minor configuration hiccups, got it to work nicely on my PowerBook G4. And the speed is reasonable.

Has anyone had luck finding GPS software that works with this card on Mac OS X?

The picture is not the EX720, but you get the idea, just skinnier. Here is a place to download the MAC drivers (and the EX720 for $129 instead of $179) http://moremobileinternet.com/ex720

Mine came in today. Fired up WIN XP through Boot Camp on my MacBook Pro. Installed manager software. Called Sprint. Activated card. Downloaded Apple drivers while I was up in XP mode. Restarted in OSX. Installed downloaded .dmg file (driver package). Boom! up and going. iChat video conference while cruising down the highway. Too cool, way easy. Getting 1200kbps down / 128kbps up according to dslreports.com speed tests. Only complaint is the green activity light on the card is annoying as hell.

Actually Apple just released an update to OS X 10.4.8 that updates it with WWAN which automatically has drivers for that EX720 and the USB U720 built-in. You'll still have to activate the card on a windows system (or with Parallel / bootcamp) but after that you can use it on the mac. It works great as we're using it now. Super fast to. We get T1 speeds in Irvine, CA. Now I'm looking into the GPS software for OS X that will work for it.

I just got my EX720 card from Sprint today and there are no Mac drivers on the disk (just Windows drivers). Does anybody know if we can download these alleged drivers from Sprint's web site (if they even exist)?
