You better have a plasma or LCD screen that supports PC resolutions, because it will not work with a CRT. Then again if you have $6,500 to drop on this, you should probably invest in a newer TV first. </p>

Nice product. But after trying this approach myself, I am not convinced that a combination home server and media center is the right way to go. I’d rather invest in a single 2 TB server and a fast network that would support all of the PCs in my house. For a Media Center PC I want a machine that does as little multitasking as possible — it shoud be dedicated to being a PVR and music client (not server). And of course a couple of CableCard slots so that I can record high-def.
