I have been using the Tifinity Toothbrush for over five months. I have found it to be a wonderful new product that really works. I use toothpaste and gently brush ( not SCRUB, as with a nylon brush ). The fine bristles reach well between my teeth and my gums really look better, firm and pink. I am looking forward to going to my dentist for my check up, I'm sure my improved oral care will blow him away. I have had to use my old nylon brush while on a trip, never again. My teeth just felt nasty. Who says one cannot build a better mouse trap?

Nylon bristles actually polish the enamel off of your teeth. I've been using TiFinity Toothbrush for 3 months and I really like how clean my teeth are. Flossing is minimal and I find I use very little toothpaste. I like cost effective items and it looks like this is one of them. Are any of these comments written by someone who has actually tried the brush?

How come no one brings up electric nylon toothbrushes. They spin at up to 10,000 RPM's. The same stuff moutain climbing rope is made at spinning at 10,000 RPM's hitting your teeth. I'd rather use a manual brush that is the same abrasivness as a nylon brush yet cleans 15% better. Plus Nylon looses 10% of performance per month. So after 3 months the TiFinity Toothbrush is 45% better... and at only 1/4 the price. $25. www.tifinitytoothbrush.com

"Wouldn’t it be too abrasive to use titanium bristles?
The ADA has a standardized test that measures the abrasivity of toothbrushes and toothpaste. Dr. Bruce Schemehorn, an authority on abrasivity at Indiana University, performed this test and compared it to nylon. Although the material tested more abrasive than nylon, (nylon being completely non-abrasive), it tested about as abrasive as nylon plus toothpaste and fell well below the ADA’s limit of safety in terms of abrasivity. In fact since some abrasivity is essential for cleaning and stain removal, many experts consider this level of abrasivity to be optimal."

I guess no toothpaste?

End result: shiny sparkling teeth with a stinky breath.
