Got some quality time with the Z8. It’s quite similar to the RIZR but it has this little kink in it that folds it over when you open it. The OS, which is Symbian, is much improved over the standard RAZR garbage. Is this the phone to bring Moto out of their doldrums? Potentially. It’s interesting and improved enough to be contender.

how much is the rizr z8 and where can i get it?
I guess Symbian means a departure from the truly terrible PIM on the other ‘patois’ models such as the RAZR. If so, then this one could be a winner (as long as they don’t want me to pay extra for software to kinda sync it with Outlook)
it will be out acording to the carphone warehouse at the end of april 2007 i also heard rummors that it might thats might be about $400 est, but could be wrong!!
also you should be able to get it at any major uk phone retailer, such as o2, vodafone, carphone warehouse etc

I see that Sky are using this phone to promote their new 24-7 Football clips service in the UK. Strange choice. I would have thought there were better mobile phones for video, unless Sky has done some sort of deal.
