Oh man, this thing is all kinds of hotness. Featuring every amenity one could possibly hope for on a computer desk, the Milk is one of those rare blends of fashion and efficiency.
It has a pneumatic lift, cable exits, organizer boxes and a file slot. It sort of reminds me of the Steelcase Airtouch with less pneumatics and more slots.
No idea what this beast costs, but that probably doesn’t matter much because it’s only available in Denmark.

I don’t like it. Anything that has a single table leg in the middle raises two concerns for me: First, despite the large foot area which should prevent accidental tipping due to one-sided overloading or clumsiness it could STILL happen; and second, anybody who spends a lot of time in front of a computer knows that the middle area under a table is where you have your legs, and I don’t need anything hindering my leg movements when taking on various seating positions. It’s impractical. Put four legs on this thing and I’d buy it :-)
It’s actually rather superb, and per today available via the Eckhart Interior Design Group in The Netherlands …
We have partnered with Holmris as the Canadian Distributor:

While visually a wonderful sight, yet functionally it is a dud. As everyone knows, the need to stretch out is hampered by the uni-leg. Stability also is in question, certainly one needs to give the unit a “wiggle test” before purchasing. Form follows function, a simple idea left on the floor with this model.
It costs $3000! And that’s without any extras. That’s little crazy.
Well you are right and wrong. This thing costs from $4,200 to $5,000.
You can order online and choose what you want on it. It is available anywhere as long as you have a home and money.
And its very stable.
Just as a hungry baby thirsts for milk, the heart thirsts for love.
blah blah blah 3000 usd for a desk give me a friggin’ break…where’s ikea
The topic is quite curious, i must say
I won’t defend the price, but re: the unileg, I believe the desk is superbly stable and it’s built with the intent (as I understand it) for use as a standing desk or with a tall chair, which negates the “stretch out the legs” problem.
i own one got from gabriel ross
best damn desk i have owned
quality is priceless
this desk is so stupid. anyone who buys it is just impressed with shiny things. oh, and we buy macs cuz their shiny and work well, not cuz they are shiny and stupid like your stupid desk. This is the most stupid-looking desk i have ever seen. not inviting at all. functionality? sweet i can file a huge stack of important papers in a hole in my desk. just cuz u put a mac on it doesn’t make ur desk look less stupid.
did u honestly think ppl would fall for this? and be like “hey! i need to go buy fish
for my desk” nice try you dumb motherfker. where did u get ur inspiration? let me guess… an IKEA catalog? if i ever met your mother i would slap her for making such a stupid kid who would then go on to making such a stupid desk. the designer claims he made the desk for himself, not for anyone else, which just proves how big of a retard he is. if u go to the site u can see this dumbass lying on his desk!! it’s cuz, like sascha mentioned, it has a HUGE pole in the middle so there is no space for legs. mango banana u are as stupid as the desk, and i feel bad for ur family. tyler willis, u are also a tard, because it can adjust height from 30-50 inches, clearly not a standing desk, unless ur really small, or tall chair.
and gabriel stop using apple to sell ur piece of shit.
it’s a table… and it costs more than everything you’d put on top of it. Likely scuffs easy too.
and quality isn’t priceless. it’s a table.
That said, if I had money to burn (literally), then I’d buy one, because I like it.
take not guys, you’d sell a hell of a lot more if they were reasonably priced. How much can it possibly cost to make?
