Stormtrooper LAN Party

This is one of the craziest effin’ things I’ve ever seen. Since simply attending a LAN party isn’t nerdy enough, these guys threw it into overdrive and dressed up as characters from the ultimate nerd movies: Star Wars.

I’ve been to a lot of LANs in my day, but, for the record, I’ve never dressed up like a storm trooper—I always went as Yoda.

  • It because of these things that I really wish I had a storm trooper outfit to walk around campus in.

People should do things dressed up more often. I want to see storm trooper birthday parties, stormtroopers at CES, etc. Stormtroopers make life more fun.

  • Well there are already Stormtroopers at CES.

Personally I wish people started wearing capes and cloaks again. Seldom does a day go by that I don’t wish I could wear a cloak and not be derided by my peers.

    Sigh.

  • Thanks for spreading the word. I’ve actually seen guys wearing these around my campus when the last Star Wars movie came out. When they travel in packs they’re pretty full of themselves

  • Blake: just wait for “The Hobbit” to be released. Capes and cloaks will be Vogue, with Bilbo Baggins reppin’ all the cool gear.
